Jenny Pearson-Millar
Painter
Lac-Supérieur, Québec

Jenny Pearson was born in Ireland and is a largely self-taught artist. Since 2010 she has lived in Lac-Supérieur, Quebec and her mentor in Canada is landscape painter, Gordon Harrison. Her style has been described as being influenced by pointillism and an impasto technique that makes the paint come alive on the canvas. To achieve different results, she uses not only the traditional brushes but also palette knives and other tools. Her work is constantly evolving. She says "Life, like art, is a journey". Her work was exhibited at the Gordon Harrison Gallery in Ottawa in October 2021.
